11. Chevrolet Spark
This modified Chevrolet Spark will both conserve what little fuel you have and protect you from zombies and bandits. It is way smaller than most of the other cars on this list and therefore more suitable for urban areas and city districts. On the other hand side, it has no proper towing ability and also limited penetration ability.
The car is equipped with following add-ones:
- Extended bullbar that goes around the entire car for hitting obstacles, or creating/running over zombie roadkill.
- A powerful stereo system that can be used to call out to other survivors.
- Extra car batteries so you don’t get stranded in the middle of a deadzone.
- And a new paint job that will blend in with the night if need be.
10. Alpha Armouring Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG
Not all the cars on this list are bullet proof. But this one definitely is! Alpha Armouring modified a regular $134,300 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG and implemented all the bullet proof windows and platting. With a powerful V8 cylinders, 5.461 cm³, 400kW engine and B6 + B7 Stanag Level 1,2 and 3 + (full 90°) armor surviving of a zombie apocalypse should be easier. The car will also protect your from human bandits equipped with small guns.
9. SportChassis P4XL
The SportChassis P4XL is the ultimate luxury sport utility vehicle on the planet. This truck is so huge that you will never have any problems with surrounding zombies! You will sit in such a height that they will not be able to reach you. At the same time you will enjoy all the luxurious interior. A 174-in. wheelbase, 100-in. width and 264 inches from front to back make sure that you impress.
Four Michelin XZL 425/65R 22.5-in. tires available in the offroad package powered by the Allison TRV3200 in a 5-speed configuration makes sure that you can drive through any mass of zombies. This truck is our personal winner, though it does not have any amour platting so it does not protect your from bandits.
8. Dartz Prombron
The Dartz PROMBRON is a luxury version of tank manufactured in RussoBalt factory in Latvia. The vehicle has been developed for more than over 20 years.
Prombron is the fastest heavy armored and luxury all-road vehicle in the world, with the unique protection capabilities from level B2 to the highest level – B7, also available STANAG NATO protection level 3/4, it includes protection from 12,7 mm bullet(heavy machine-guns), this level of protection is not available to any armored passenger vehicles and is used for light tanks.
With all the above mentioned facts, the protection level should be even better than Alpha Armouring Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG described earlier. The Dartz products are on the real edge between what is publicly available and what is considered as military equipment. We would recommend the car for any kind of zombie apocalypse.
7. MaxxPro Category 1 MRAP
The International MaxxPro MPV is an armored fighting vehicle designed by Navistar International’s subsidiary International Military and Government LLC (IMG) along with Plasan Sasa.

6. SPORTSMOBILE 4WD VEHICLE
The Sportsmobile 4WD Vehicle is for the most discerning of off-road enthusiasts. Only the best heavy-duty components are used to give the absolute best off-road performance while maintaining exceptional on-road performance.
This van is not the heaviest or most armored car on the list, however if you also consider transporting a lot of equipment, food, beverages and other supply necessary to survive in the wasted land, you should consider this car. Another advantage is that you can also sleep in it. Every larger group of survivals should have at least one van like this for disposal. Extra roof lights also make it easier to navigate the car through various barriers and obstacles. It is definitively also one of the cheaper solutions in place.
5. Mercedes-Benz G-WAGON LAPV 6.X
The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon LAPV 6.X based on a regular G-Class is an armored patrol vehicle as fit for the battlefield as it is for the forest. Features include a diesel engine, a payload capacity of 1.3 tons, a full steel body, a mine deflector plate, an individual tire inflation system, and a number of advanced tactical military technologies from EADS. This conquer-anything truck can carry 2,866 pounds of cargo over just about any terrain you can throw at it, reinforced by armor plating. The only disadvantage in compare to the other models on this list is limited inner space and absence of extremely luxurious dashboard equipment. Purely a military car, but still able to guide you through the unfriendly environment.
4. Hyundai Elantra ZE
The Hyundai Elantra Zombie Survival Machine introduced in 2012 on Comic-Con is actually just a concept car created to promote Zombie movies. However we thought it should be included here, because everyone should be able to modify a basic stock car and create similar car. As there is no platting, no armor, no biohazard protection and the car is small, light and without any luxurious equipment inside, we advise to use the home made car only in case you don’t have enough funds to afford other car from out list.

3. Mercedes-Benz UNIMOG
The Unimog can be equipped for specialized and customized roles better than any other series-produced vehicle. It travels at normal truck speeds on roads – with a top speed of 56 mph – and then offers exceptional all-wheel drive off-road ability, leaving every tractor behind. And with its renowned engine power reserves, you can depend upon the Unimog’s reliability. Mercedes-Benz Unimog is a heavy-duty truck lacking any creature comfort. Select this car, if you prefer to have a versatile vehicle on which you can mount any kind of device, weapon, shield and it will never betray you. If you prefer more comfort and urban style, please skip this truck and move to number 2 on our list.
2. Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6
The G63 AMG 6×6 is derived from a special edition of the G-wagen developed for the Australian armed forces, but unlike that purposeful vehicle, the concept is fully equipped with every conceivable luxury option. The center console is fitted with carbon fiber in a feeble effort to counter the 6×6’s excessive weight, and the seats and door trim are finished in diamond-quilted leather.
The armored model will cost 1.335.000 USD and it will be able to tackle rugged terrain as well as the burst of fire from an AK-47 or an M-16. According to the Texas Armoring officials, the model can handle everything up to a 7.62×63 mm (.30-06) round.
The car is a real monster, but unfortunately it is not protecting the crew well in compare to other car on our list. If you want a city ready car that you can freely park in front of your house without being suspicious, this is your option. However if you have a garage and can hide some heavy armored car, buy something different.
1. CONQUEST KNIGHT XV
According to the manufacturer, Conquest Vehicle Inc., its flagship vehicle, the KNIGHT XV defines the future of the ultra-luxurious, handcrafted fully armored SUV. This one-of-a-kind, V10, 6.8-litre, Bio-fuel powered SUV was inspired by military vehicle designs and features security appointments that are unrivaled in today’s SUV marketplace. The production of the KNIGHT XV will be limited to 100 vehicles. This is quite a rare car to get and still looks very suitable for urban areas in compare to some larger model mentioned before. You get basic armoring, however it is not clear if the car will protect you from biohazard and nuclear attack. It is still number one on our list, because you can use this car also before any evil comes to your town. Other heavier cars are just not suitable for daily use, this one would even fit to McDonnald’s drive in.
We have provided the ultimate guide for everyone willing to survive a zombie apocalypse and now it is your turn. Please vote for your choice of car or let us know in the comment section if you have some other car on your mind that is missing on our list. We are now well prepared, dear survivors!
