Our colleagues from The Hollywood Report have published a report regarding the Fast and Furious 7 and Brian O’Conner future. According to some sources close to the Universal Studios, Brian O’Conner, Paul Walker’s character will be retired in Fast and Furious 7.
According to the same sources, Brian O’Conner will not be killed in the movie as the writers are planning to retire him is such a way so the Hollywood franchise will go on.
In the weeks after the tragedy, director James Wan, writer Chris Morgan and Jeffrey Kirschenbaum, Universal’s lead executive on the Fast films, pored over the footage Wan had shot. The trio then devised a plan to tweak the existing script so that Walker would remain a part of the story but could be written out, allowing the franchise to continue without him.
According to some rumors, Cody Walker, Paul’s brother will step into the movie and will film the new necessary scenes. Universal declined comment.
As you already know, Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas, died in a horrific accident on 30 November 2013. According to autopsy reports, the accident that killed the famous actor was so severe that he suffered multiple fractures and other traumatic injuries.
