Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the all-new 2015 CLA and CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake. As you already know, these models are just a baby-CLS Shooting Brake and features a bigger cargo capacity.
Compared to the CLA, the new version of it has a cargo capacity of 495 liters, with 25 liters more than the standard car and when the rear seats are folded the luggage compartment can accommodate 1.354 liters.
At the launch, the new CLA Shooting Brake will be offered in with a 2.1 liter turbodiesel unit rated at 136 HP and 300 Nm peak of torque. These are the figures for the CLA 200 CDI. If you will choose the CLA 220 CDI you will find the same engine but with 177 HP and 350 Nm of torque. The CLA 180 features a 1.6 liter unit with 122 HP and 200 Nm. The 2.0 liter petrol engine is available in the CLA 200 with 156 HP and 250 Nm of torque and on the CLA 250 with 211 HP and 350 Nm peak of torque.
Last, but not least is the CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake. It comes with the same 2.0 liter turbocharged unit rated at 360 horsepower and 450 Nm peak of torque. It features the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system and the AMG Speedshift DCT transmission. As a result, the car can run from stand still to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h.
Deliveries of the Mercedes-Benz CLA & CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake will commence March next year.
