Ferrari has officially unveiled today the all-new 488 GTB. The new Italian supercar is the 458 Italia successor and comes with a very aggressive exterior and with a big, big modification under the bonnet.
On the outside we see an active aerodynamic kit that is composed out of spoilers and flaps. We are moving on and we can tell you that the 488 GTB has a unique blown spoiler that improves the downforce and that works together with the air diffuser.
Under the bonnet, the new Ferrari 488 GTB has a V8 3.9 twin-turbo engine. The new unit can deliver 670 horsepower at 8.000 rpm and 760 Nm peak of torque at 3.000 rpm. Thanks to the reworked seven speed dual clutch transmission, the new 488 GTB can run from stand still to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, while the not to 200 km/h is done in 8.3 seconds, faster than the 458 Speciale. Around Fiorano, the new model was clocked at 1 minute and 23 seconds, 2 seconds faster the 458 Italia.
The new Ferrari 488 GTB will be officially showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
