Audi has officially unveil the all-new Prologue Concept, a prototype which previews the upcoming A9, a rival for the S-Class Coupe. More than that, the concept was developed in order to show us the new design direction which will be implemented on the next generation models.
The front part of the Audi Prologue Concept is dominated by the single frame grille which is flanked by the Matrix headlights. More than that, we see aggressive spoilers and massive air vents.
At the back of the car we see some influence taken form the Citroen C6. We have a big window and three dimensional taillights. Last, but not least is the unique 22 inch alloy wheels set.
Inside the cabin, Audi Prologue Concept comes with a four seat interior layout. As you imagine, the materials are high-end and we see a lot of aluminum and wood accessories.
More than that, the car comes with a digital instrument cluster and numerous touchscreens for the driver and for the front passenger. Thanks to a unique system, the car can recognize the driver via his mobile phone. As a result, the Prologue concept can adjust the seat, turn on the heat and change the radio.
Under the hood of the Audi Prologue Concept is a twin-turbo V8 4.0 liter TFSI engine rated at 605 horsepower and 750 Nm peak of torque. The engine is matted to an eight speed tiptronic transmission and to an all-wheel drive system.
