Mazda has officially revealed all the details about the 2016 CX-3 crossover. The new Japanese model will go on sale in the US this fall and as you already know it will come with a stylish exterior and a decently equipped interior.
The entry-level model has air conditioning, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel and premium cloth seats. In addition, Mazda will offer cruise control, power windows, a 60/40 split folding rear seats. Other accessories include a rear view camera, Bluetooth connectivity and the MZD Connect infotainment system that works with a seven inch display.
The range-topping version has LED headlights, LED fog lights and 18 inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, customers will find climate control, heated front seats and a premium audio system signed by Bose. There is also a power moonroof and leather/Lux Suede upholstery.
Under the hood, the 2016 Mazda CX-3 will come with a 2.0 liter SKYACTIV-G unit that can deliver 146 horsepower and 197 Nm peak of torque. The engine is matted to a six speed automatic transmission that can also be paired with an all-wheel drive system.
The price tag of the new Mazda CX-3 crossover will be announced closer to launch, but the Japanese officials expects the model to start something in the low $20,000s.
