Mazda has officially revealed the all-new CX-3 compact crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
As you imagined, the car follows the KODO – Soul of Motion design philosophy and features a a prominent grille with sweptback headlights and bigger plastic body cladding. At the back we see a blacked out C-pillar that was redesigned to look like a rear window.
Inside the cabin we see the same elementes found on the new Mazda2 subcompact model. It has circular air vents with a special head-up display and the MZD Connect system that works on a 7 inch touchscreen display.
In the U.S., the new Mazda CX-3 will be powered by a 2.0 liter SKyactiv-G petrol unit while in the Europe we will see two 2.0 liter Skyactiv-G petrol engines and the newly developed 1.5 Skyactiv-D diesel motor.
The front-wheel drive variant will be standard on both U.S and European market, but there will be an all-wheel drive version on the option list. The new Mazda CX-3 will go on sale in the United States next summer and the pricing details will be announced closer to launch.
