Dodge has officially unveiled today the all-new 2015 Viper SRT. As you can notice, the U.S officials have decided to come back to the old Dodge name.
“The Dodge brand is committed to keeping the ultimate American-built exotic supercar as unique as ever by offering new packages with some of the most exclusive and high-quality content we’ve ever produced in the Viper,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO — Dodge Brand.
The new 2015 Viper SRT will be available with more special versions than you can think of. The first big surprise is the introduction of the GT variant which will be positioned between the Viper and Viper GTS.
It will come with a driver-selectable suspension and a five mode ESP. Inside the cabin, customers will find Nappa leather and Alcantara seats with special accent stitching.
Moving down the list you will find the Viper TA 2.0 Special Edition. This limited version is based on the Viper SRT Time Attack and comes with a special Aerodynamics Package. The latter one features front dive planes, carbon fiber front corner splitters and a larger rear wing to develop additional downforce.
In addition, the model has got a race-tuned suspension, a carbon fiber X-brace, Brembo performance brakes and Sidewinder II wheels covered in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
Inside the cabin, buyers will find Sablet racing seats with orange accent. According to Dodge, the 2015 Viper TA 2.0 Special Edition will be limited to 96 units and will be available in three colors: Competition Blue, Yorange and Venom Black.
The next on the list is the Viper GTS Ceramic Blue Edition which is featuring a special Ceramic Blue exterior with black stripes. The cabin features Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery with carbon fiber accessories and GTS badging. The Viper GTS Ceramic Blue Edition will be limited to 40 units.
Last, but not the least modification was operated under the bonnet. Here, the 8.4 liter V10 unit is now delivering 645 horsepower and 812 Nm peak of torque. The engine is managed by a six speed manual transmission whit improved gears.
