Audi has officially unveiled the all-new A1 and A1 Sportback facelift. Just like the A6 and Q3, the new A1 has received the modified single grille frame with the new dynamic headlights. In addition, Audi will offer new paint combinations.
According to the German car manufacturer, the new A1 facelift is longer than its predecessor with 2 centimeters. Inside the cabin, the new 2015 Audi A1 facelift is featuring the latest MMI infotainment system with a Wi-Fi hotspot function. Furthermore, the car can be equipped with the Audi Genuine Accessories package which feature a few special details and accessories.
The most important modification which was revealed with the new update is the introduction of the first three cylinder engine in Audi’s history. On the petrol side, we have the 1.0 liter 3-cylinder unit with 95 horsepower while on the diesel side we found the 1.4 liter 3-cylinder motor with 90 horsepower. The first one can achieve a fuel consumption of 4.3 liters per 100 kilometers, while the second engine can return 3.4 liters in the same conditions.
The most powerful version of the A1 is the S1. It comes with the 2.0 liter TFSI unit with 231 horsepower. The run from not to 100 km/h is done in 5.8 (5.9 for the sportback version).
