But let’s start the story about the brand new 2014 Audi A8 facelift. The most important change that has been operated on the new German flag ship sedan was the introduction of the LED Matrix Beam technology. You already know that this new feature has 25 high-beam LEDs clustered in groups of five with reflectors.
According to the German car maker, this new system is so accurate that it “blanks out light that would shine directly onto oncoming and preceding vehicles, but continues to cast the high beams with full power on all other zones between and beside them.” More than that, the LED Matrix Beam can turn off or dim the LEDs depending on traffic conditions.
